Top tips for type 1A hair
Welcome to the type 1A hair club. Our hair is stick straight, resilient and difficult to damage.
Tip 1
Stay hydrated.
Blondes have more fun, but they also crave moisture. To combat any signs of dryness and fragility your hair may experience after bleaching, shampoo with a moisturising shampoo. Squeeze dry with a towel to remove excess water. Apply a moisturising conditioner from mid-lengths to ends. Leave on for 4-6 minutes. Rinse. Happy and hydrated hair.
Tip 2
Protect.
Going blonde is the perfect excuse to introduce a little extra pampering into your routine. Deeply condition and provide additional protection before heat styling with Magical Remedy. Take a pea-sized amount and rub it between your hands. Distribute evenly throughout damp hair from mid-lengths to ends. Tip 3
Switch up your brush.
It’s still widely believed that brushing oily hair will only make it worse. But the truth is, with the right brush, you can remove and distribute some of that oil so that your roots appear less greasy.
Boar bristle brushes (or faux boar bristle brushes, if you’d like a vegan option) are excellent for those with greasy roots. The fibers help pick up and distribute the natural oils throughout the hair.
